Niko Bellic, the beloved immigrant to Liberty City from East Europe shows some very American behaviour:
To recover his life, Niko has to eat. There is plenty of choice in Liberty City to pick up a hamburger, hot dog and such as. But one thing Rockstar didn’t want Niko to eat is healthy home-made food. It’s not like Niko has no opportunity to eat home-made food. He’s got a fridge and there is even food on the counter, ready to eat. But even desperate L1-key hitting doesn’t help. He really doesn’t pick it up. To bad since you load/safe every game from his accommodation. Is this the American dream?

Although we could still hope for GTAIV cooking mama stories :D
Don’t think I’m overanalyzing. I’m basically just annoyed by the fact that it’s impossible to heal life while at home. Especially since this is always the point to start after loading a game.
